UPDATE!!

thanks everyone for the advice I have made the decision to have my husband go live with his parents and give me and my son the space we need and he can only can come back after a long time of getting his life together !

So my husband struggles with substance abuse issues and it has gotten worse since his brother passed away recently. He will get really good for awhile then depressed and spiral down. I can't keep living life this way but he's my husband and I don't really believe in divorcing and want my family together and don't to split my child from two different households but I need to be happy to and I'm debating on leaving for good. Can I get some people thoughts and if anyone else has been in this position before....please be nice ladies!
