vaginal sonogram/Ovulation

 I went to my regular check up ... he did a vaginal sonogram just to check out my ovaries and tubes he said they where perfectly fine that my left was smaller then my right ovarie ... but what was confusing to me was when he pointed out that he can see my eggs forming above my right ovarie! Question is that even possible I mean he did his best to show me something that look like a little  bubble on. The screen. Does this mean I'm ovulating soon ? He also mentioned he seen at least 3 eggs forming but only one would get fertilized if we are lucky ! Has anyone else seen they eggs forming on an vaginal sonogram ?
