menopause at 17??

Like my periods have been weird ever since I first got it 5 years ago. Im 17 now and my period is like 3 weeks late. And it's not that im pregnant because I'm on bc. And it could be my birth control messing with my period, but it was weird before I started bc. Like my period used ro be 5 days. Then one time it was 9 and it was 9 days for a little over a year. Then I started bc and my periods have been 3 weeks long. And now its a month late. Like i looked up stuff about early menopause and I have most of the symptoms.

See this is why Dr.Google is bad! There's just no way you'd be experiencing menopause hun unless you'd had a hysterectomy recently. The period irregularities you are having are common when you're young and even throughout, why do you think so many women use apps like these for their periods? It's far more likely that your birth control is interfereing with your cycle. Take your app records to the Dr to discuss.

I doubt its early menopause you are just scaring yourself. You are still young and periods can be irregular due to that, stress, and a lot of other factors. You can still get pregnant on bc so that is a possibility also. You may also have another health condition that is affecting it. If it was 3 months, I'd be worried, but 3 weeks, nah.

I HIGHLY doubt that. You're much more likely to be having those symptoms for another reason. My mom is going through menopause and she's 50.
