Cramps: Braxton Hicks or Baby Moving?

I'm 26 weeks pregnant and I've been getting feelings of cramps. Is it Braxton Hicks or is it just the baby moving around? It was uncomfortable to walk last night, and my stomach was rock hard.

It is Sooo weird but I experienced the same thing last night it felt as if I was about to start my period my legs were hurting and my stomach was extremly tight. I am 26 weeks 6 days today so I was hoping and praying that it wasn't a sign of preterm labor.

I was having some lower abdomen tightness that kinda just hung around. Didn't really feel it coming or going like a contraction. I had an L&d nurse check me. She poked around and said my stomach wasn't hard like a contraction and after some more poking around my stomach found out it was just the baby stretching out across my belly. Once he finally switched positions I felt relief

You should be able to tell the difference. Braxton hicks will make your stomach feel very hard and you'll feel your uterus get really tight. The baby moving usually feels different and you can usually see if feel the movement. Though sometimes they do just move a little that causes pressure.
