Feeling stressed- What is your top stress relief?

Alice
I've had so much on my plate lately, and I feel so miserable and stressed, I can't even make time for my family, because it makes me feel ill. What helps you get rid of stressed after a tough day? I'm willing to try almost anything. Please comment!!!

Exercise!! Even if you don't belong to a gym, a brisk walk outside helps me.

I usually put some incense and scented candles on and then have a nap lol just sleep through it 😴 If that doesnt work I would make myself have a walk around my local park until I felt better.

Would suggest a local country park rather than a standard park, much more peaceful

I internalize all my negative feelings so I used to get frequent migraines that lasted for weeks at a time. Being a single mom means doing Dad and Mom lol. I started walking/jogging. I put the girls in bed, bring the dogs inside, arm the house, ask my neighbor to watch out, put my ear buds in, music up loud, and jog til I was tired. I also use essential oils throughout the day.

If I'm home alone, I lay on the floor, put on some Pandora, turn on my Scentsy and listen to the music. Or I go and work out. Don't think about anyone looking at you, just keep going and you'll feel better about yourself. Surround yourself with positive people, like your friends and family. Make a visit, tell them what's going on. Talking does help instead of keeping it all in.(: Take a drive, even if it's to the next city, get yourself something to eat, relax and be happy.(:

Reading or music for me usually. Or just doing something nice for yourself every once in a while... buying a new pair of shoes, enjoying a glass of wine... just something simple that makes you happy. I also try to tell myself if it's not something I'm going to remember a year from now it's not worth stressing out about.

And just try and cut out any negative energy that may be causing it, such as people, friends or family. Not completely but don't be around them more than you have to be.

Usually deep breathing, sleeping and music
