What can I take to ease the pain of my braces ? What are some good things to eat while having braces?

I used to rinse my mouth out with hot water as hot as you can stand it and either either salt or a pain reliever dissolved in the water. Only eat soft foods when you first get them on or tighten and icees help to!

Ibuprofen and soft foods smoothies soups mashed potatoes pasta etc.

advil or ibuprofen worked for me.
after a tightening i used to get steak fries - and eat the soft ones.. i would bite into them and the warmness would help the pain.
call it weird but it helped me. i didn't eat the crunchy ends cause that hurt too much

Advil maybe.. and foods soups I guess idk 😐 I never really stopped eating anything when I got my braces. Except for the first day when it hurt a lot I'd eat cereal afterwards I'd eat whatever was home.
