The doctor is just doing their job. They do it so that you can talk about and they can help you figure out a plan to get you back on track and to a healthier weight. They don't do it to make you feel bad or anything, it's just their job to discuss it with you so you know you have options.

The doctors just doing their job. If they've brought up your weight gain it's obviously an unhealthy amount of weight gain

5 more. I just see it as focusing on healthy foods, not a restrictive diet and I feel so much better all the time. You may feel like its not working at first, but do the full 30 and you'll really see the benefits. :)

I recently gained quite a bit of weight and so far the only thing that has worked and I've been able to stick with is the Whole 30. In the first month, I lost 10 lbs and 2 weeks into the second month, I'm down

Yes my doc., brought that crap up on my last visit and my boyfriend was in there with me and he got defensive and stopped the doctor and told her "are you saying she is overweight?" And he told me, "no babe you look just fine" you are thick not fat.LOL 😂

Omg. I have struggled with an eating disorder kind of on and off for years. Last year I went from 140 pounds to 100 very very quickly. That was my goal weight so just as I had promised my psychiatrist - I started eating again. And now I've gone from that 100 up to 175 in about a year. And when I went to see my psychiatrist I was terrified (because they weigh me every time) and I was so scared of him bringing up the weight gain that I had no called no showed to that appointment twice the week before. 😭 he never did bring it up. Probably because he knows that will trigger me to starve myself again. I'm upset enough by it, I don't need people reminding me.

I once gained 15 pounds in six months because I am a growing child and that's what growing children do and my doctor told me I need to stop gaining so much weight despite being a healthy weight and perfectly fine. My mom told him he needs to stop losing so much hair lol. It is hard to hear but I guess you just have to take it and hear them out. If you don't like how your doctor talks to you, then look for a different one. But also remember it's not really anything personal and don't fret too much. Many people fluctuate in weight. We gain and lose. It happens.
