When do you guys think its time to go public with your pregnancies

My name is Chassity and this will be my first and I still haven't made it public as I'm only 4 weeks and 1 day. Only close friends and select family know but I some times feel bad cause I don't want to hurt no ones feelings about not telling them first I just wanna make sure everything is going to be ok first but unsure when I should let the cat out of the bag so to speak

We did our Facebook announcement at 7 weeks 6 days. We told our parents at 3 weeks 5 days

Only close family and friends know right now and I'm 14 weeks but I'm waiting until I find out the gender to publicly announce via social media

I'm 8 weeks today, and we have only told family and a few close friends. We aren't going public until after our first appointment so we can make sure everything is going well.

I always tell everyone right away because I have suffered 2 miscarriages and nobody knew I was pregnant and it was so hard to go through alone and not have anyone to talk to about it even if something does happen you will be glad everyone knew that your child existed

I'd wait until you hit 12 weeks and are in the safe zone.

Only those who absolutely need to know... my close gal friends... because if I miscarry I'm going to need them. However, I want to be farther along (safer) and 4 weeks out of 40 isn't very far. Waiting another 4 isn't a big deal, not to me and I found out almost immediately after conception.

I waited... I told my MIL + my mom + EXTREMELY close friends at 12 wks, but i waited to tell everyone else until my last trimester.

And that's how I personally felt comfy. (yes i did get questioned as to why i took so long telling)

What's important is that you do what makes you feel comfortable - I don't think there is a set time for these types of things!

You tell people when you are ready, as soon as I found out I told everyone. What you're most comfortable with! Regardless how long you wait there is still always a chance for miscarriage. If you want to tell people then do it! 4 weeks or 14 weeks doesn't matter! It's completely up to you and what you're comfortable with!

I waited until 10 weeks with my first and 13 weeks with this one. :)
Parents knew at 8 weeks, and 10 weeks.
