We went in for our scheduled C-Section at 39 weeks and enjoyed our relaxing morning without labor

We went in for our scheduled C-Section at 39 weeks and enjoyed our relaxing morning without labor. It was still nerve racking going under the knife and having to get a spinal. Our baby boy was born with no complications except he was having problems getting the fluid out of his lungs since he wasn't born vaginally. They used a C-Pap on him 3 times with in the first 2 hours of birth   His breathing was still a little labored so they did an x-ray and found out he had a 6mm hole in his lung from the first C-Pap he got. We were both taken by ambulance to the next hospital that had a NICU unit 30 miles away. He ended up being ok with in the next 12 hours but we had to stay for 4 days. I was upset that I didn't get to nurse him until 8 hours after he was born. I had to get up out of my bed every 3 hours and walk to the NICU unit 2 floors down to feed my poor guy that was hooked up to 7 different monitors. Talk about stressful and painful since I had a C-Section. We were never so greatful when we got to come home and enjoy our baby finally!
