When would I be able to get an ultrasound?

I just found out that I'm almost 5 weeks pregnant! When's the earliest I can get an ultrasound and see the sac at least?

If they will you can have one now. I had one just last Friday I was 5 week 3 days pregnant. 
We were surprised to find two baby's

Our Twins to early for heart beats but a gestational sac and a yolk sac is what should be visible

You could do it now but some doctors don't always like to because it could be too early to really see anything which I don't understand because I just had mine yesterday and I'm 6w1d and I got to see the baby and the heartbeat. Some doctors like to wait until about 8 weeks to do an ultrasound. If you have any worries though I'm sure your doctor would give you one.

Kaiser won't do it until 8 weeks. They say 'there's nothing detectable' prior. I think it's crap.

I had mine a few days ago at 6+2

My doctor won't see me until 10 weeks. My other doctor wouldn't see me until 12 and then my other doctor saw me right away but I didn't get to see that baby until 10 weeks.
