During the first year of my marriage my husband was soooooo embarrassed to be buying me tampons. Finally one day a woman behind him at at check out noticed him hiding the box she asked "those arn't for you are they?" No, "why so embarrassed then? Do you really need all those other things? How bout instead getting her something she wants?" Short story long he also came back home with my favorite chocolates, lavender bath salts and bath fizziez, the champagne we had at our wedding, and a cheap towel to lay down on the bed ;). As well as her meeting him outside to hand him a congratulations wedding card that we read together (hilarious framed and now lost it was in a box that was stolen from my car during a move hopfully one day I can find who has it been checking garage sales and estate sales now that we have moved back.)
