water breaking or pee?

Standing in the kitchen, I'm not sure if I peed or my water broke. I have terrible bladder control so it's totally possible it was pee and it smelled. I was unable to stop it, wasn't a gush. More like a steady stream. That was last night, no contractions and baby has been super active today. So probably pee right?

It brought me piece of mind, but my nurse told me that amniotic fluid will just come out no smell and the color normally is very transparent, or greenish if the baby is in stress (in this,last one to go to the doctor). If the is doubts if it is amniotic or just pee to clean the area and put a pad and clean panties, walk around doing a bit of kegel, if its just pee it gets only damp and controlled the flux if its the other you'll just get wet no keg can actually stop it (normally less 10 than minuts) the advice has helped me twice not to rush o er as im ftm, but if you have doubts or fears for piece of mind and heart check your doctor all the best :)

You need to go to your doctor. My fluid leaked slowly with my son over about a week. I told them I had been having a lot of discharge and they checked. He was almost totally out of fluid by that point. He'd never stopped kicking or anything. If I'd have just ignored the possibility, he'd have died. Be safe and go see your OB.

When my water broke it smelled like bleach or something it was probably pee. After my water broke my contractions hit 2 min apart
