advise needed: anterior placenta

Am
I know this is stupid. I keep telling myself this is stupid. (But hormones...). I haven't felt my baby yet. This is baby 6 so I know what I'm looking for and I'm 18+4.
I had a sonogram a few days ago and she was really still most of the time we were there. I asked if she was ok and tech said she's sleeping. She stared sucking her thumb towards the end but she just wasn't active. (I drank a Dr Pepper 1 hour before to hopefully watch her in action, and have had almost no caffeine while pregnant). At the appt I mentioned I haven't felt her and they informed me I have an anterior placenta. With every other pregnancy I have found great comfort and joy in feeling baby move and was told it could be weeks before I fee her. As a result, I'm not feeling attached or excited. Has anyone else experienced this?  With anterior Placenta when did others fee baby?  For my bonding and for my kids to be able to feel this is an important step I've always taken for granted!  I do have a Doppler so I've heard her regularly but it really isn't the same!
