When you're with someone, who should be responsible for having or getting the condoms?

Both of you are responsible for ensuring you have protection. My boyfriend and I both buy condoms, but he tends to be responsible for buying them because I pay for birth control already so we reached that agreement together. But I'll still go out and buy them too. If you're both going to be having sex then you both are responsible for protection.
