Implantation or Period?

So my husband and I are trying to conceive and I am late. I started having a few slight pains not too strong and when I went to the restroom I had a light pink mucus. Is this implantation bleeding? If so could I take a pregnancy test now?

Could be.  But you should have had "implantation" bleeding before your missed period.  You could still be preg and spot.  Or maybe af is on a the way.  Take a test

Also implantation usually would happen a week before your period is due. And it's actually rare to spot or bleed from it believe it or not. Doesn't happen more often than does.

How do you know when it's due, if you are temping and know when you ovulated that's the only way to know for sure when your period is due.
