After you receive your BFP, does your doc require you to be at a certain week of gestation to be checked out?

Every office is the same.  Mine usually has me come in to confirm pregnancy then makes an appointment for a few weeks out.  After the initial visit there usually isn't much health care you need or check ups until a bit further along.  They will prescribe prenatals,  make sure you have a list of safe foods ect.   And they will send you on your way.  The first few appointments are super super boring !! Before you know it you'll be thinking the opposite , like damn another appointment!

I just made a doctor appointment, and he scheduled a ultrasound for 2 weeks when I was 8 weeks! Had a vaginal ultrasound! & everything else just flows

I made an appointment to confirm pregnancy and they had me in a few days later. I was a little over 4 weeks. Doctor scheduled an ultrasound 2 weeks later at 6 weeks 3 days. My second ultrasound was 4 weeks later when I was 10 weeks 3 days. My next appointment will be to hear the heartbeat next week. I'll be 14 weeks 1 day.
