Cloth diapers-even though not pregnant?

So look through the Craigslist "baby+kid" section often because I like to look into how much certain used baby items are. I'm big into ♻️♻️♻️, so I plan on buying pretty much everything for our future baby used (which definitely has the perk of being very economical as well).

My husband is deciding on whether to try now or in a couple months. For some reason he's stuck on being finished with his bachelors, even though he'll have it in 3-4 months, and it's not like a baby comes in that time... it's normal to not even conceive in that time. But it works best for me to try sooner rather than later because of our work/school/general timing. So that I can be able to take time off of work without it generally hurting us too much when it comes to money, since there'll be a small period afterwards where there'll be a switchover of jobs and he'll be without a job for a little while waiting for the next one to start. So definitely I'd want to be working during that time. And a lot of his holding back, ironically, has to do with money... even though he's not thinking of 3 months of my maternity leave (unpaid because this is America 🙄) that would then coencide with that period somewhat if we conceive right away when he wants to start trying or possibly COMPLETELY coincide with this period of unemployed time between jobs.

Anywaaaaaaay... I found a cloth diaper stash on Craigslist 9 quality brand one size diapers with inserts, prefolds thrown in (with 2 snappis) and a free wet bag. She also said she has a couple more diapers that are really stained if I wanted them thrown in for free, but she's not planning on selling them since they look terrible, but just really need some sun to bleach them out after this winter of not being able to be sunned.
.
All of that for $10 since she's moving and really wants to just get rid of them since her LO is now fully potty trained and doesn't need diapers anymore.
.
I'm thinking, that's at least 1/2 a stash, and all I'd really need is to buy some more inserts and/or prefolds to have a full stash for $30 max (including the $10 Craigslist find).
.
Would it be super weird for me to buy these? We're planning on having a baby sometime soon whether it's 9 months to 1.5+ years and I'm just a sucker for a great deal. How often does something like this come around, and alleviate the stress of a lot of financial stress, with cloth diapering usually being a big investment in the beginning. I could have all my diapers for about the same $$ as a giant pack of disposables.
.
And, of course, I would be sanitizing them before they ever went on my future baby.
