cvs brand digital tests(it says to take them apart to dispose)

I have a question and don't judge but I took apart a digital test from cvs and it had a light line it said no- on the screen. now bare with me but when I took apart a first response one it had no line when it said no-. It said that the cvs test is 25miu. But what I'm also wondering is does a digital always have a line or no?
