When did you find out your baby's gender?

My doc says 20 weeks but it doesn't *seem* like anyone here waited that long. Is that what they just say as a precaution? Could I hopefully be finding out sooner?

You can find out early through blood testing. They test your blood bc you and the baby share blood. So if you have all Xs. Then it's a girl. But if they find Y chromosomes then it's a boy.

Most Drs will have you come in at 20 weeks but you can do a private scan at 16 weeks most places charge between 25-75$ for a gender scan

We found out at 19 weeks because that was the opening they had, and I wasn't about to wait longer lol but honestly the later you find out the more accurate it will be. The earlier you do it, the more risk in getting it wrong.

I found out via blood test at 12 weeks. Some will take a guess via ultrasound at 14-19 weeks but the 20 week anatomy scan is the standard way to find out if you're going by ultrasound.

I had an appointment that was suppose to be for my 17 week but doctor was gone so I had to wait until 19. So I asked if I can get my scan that day to so I wouldn't have to come back the same week pretty much. So I got mine at 19w 4d. Close to 20. But we were still able to find out.

My appointment with my doctor was at 20 weeks. However, my mom is an ultrasound tech, so she scanned me at 17 weeks and we had a gender reveal Christmas Eve at 19 weeks.

I was 13w 5d but I had genetic testing done. He didn't want to show anything at 20 weeks and didn't see boy parts until 27 weeks but they were definitely there! 😂
