Does anyone have a belly button piercing??

I just got a belly button piercing yesterday. I know piercings hurt for a while but I've been cleaning it well but it still hurts pretty bad if I move a certain way. Is this normal? In between the belly button and the jewel on the top I can feel the bar underneath my skin and it hurts there really bad. Has anyone else experienced this?

No duh it's going to hurt if you touch that area...It's just been run through by a needle and now there's a giant metal bar that's there instead of tissue. Your body is trying to heal itself and it's going to take up to 6 months for that to happen and it will be tender to the touch. So leave it alone unless your cleaning it and let your body do the rest.

Stop touching it. Leave it alone and keep cleaning it. Mine hurt for a few days maybe even a week(can't remember so long ago) until it was fine. Just follow instructions the piercer gave you.

Mine took a full year to stop hurting. Just keep cleaning it if you want to keep it and it'll heal eventually.

It's gonna be a little tender for a few days. Just keep cleaning it, don't mess around with it too much, and don't pick at any scabs that might form. Make sure your hands are clean when you clean it too.

Try not to move it or twist it etc. if there's crustys don't pick it clean it with salt water and a cotton swab, clean it daily and it'll heal in good time ☺️👍🏽

Yes that's completely normal try not to mess with it to much but do move it around so it doesn't close around your skin. :)

Mine hurt for like a month. Just clean it a lot and keep it covered with gause for at least 2 weeks.

I've had mine for almost a year, just relax honey, it takes a while to heal and it's going to be VERY SORE especially if you move weird or you touch it or it gets snagged. Just don't play with it!! Just clean it 2 times a day, you'll be okay
