where I live the legal drinking age is 18 and i don't know anyone who didn't drink before their 18th birthday i'm wondering if it's just my area or if it compares to everyone else

Only once. With two friends on New Years (I was 17 and still am) while a parent was present. Didn't even get remotely drunk.

where i live the drinking age is 21, but most teens are known to start drinking (often binge-drinking) many years before that. usually begins in high school and if not, then college. although it's quite illegal, in the area that i live, i don't know many teens that don't participate in the drinking or partying scene

I'm Italian, the legal age is technically 18 but you can go to bars and do shots and order drinks at 15/16 without an ID. Nobody ever checks, even if they know you are underage. You can go to a restaurant and order wine without any problems. I've been allowed to officially drink with my family since I was 15.

The drinking age is 18 where I live as well. I never drank prior to turning 18 except with my parents. They would give me alcohol on slecial occasions but I never really drank till I was of age
