Fitness goals vs period

I swear every time I get ready to start out on my fitness goals I go off the rails around my period lol those good cravings get me every time and then there's the good cravings,cramps,emotionalism, and my bloating and fatigue. I try to find ways to workout around my schedule but when I finally do get time then my period shows up. I'm personally hoping I can find something to lessen the symptoms a little. I am already on birth control but now sure what else to do .
