AF due in two days I broke down and tested.

So I tested yesterday and of course got a bfn my AF is due on the 23rd should I count myself out for this month? Anyone else tested later and still got a bfp. Hoping for a rainbow baby surprise for my other halfs birthday but the bfn has me feeling down.
