So I have been up since 5am with off on and cramps but nothing too painful or consistent. Saw my midwife at midday for a sweep, she said I was only 1cm dilated but cervix was soft and she could feel baby's head so she's hopeful the sweep will move things along as the past couple days I've been having a few pains and discomfort.

She says she's not going to see me again until I'm at home with baby now and that if this sweep doesn't work they will induce me on March 2nd that's 9 days from now 😕 which means il be 12 days over due and its right at the end of my SOs paternity leave only leaving a couple days at home with bay before he's back at work!

I'm a little annoyed I have to wait so long if today didn't work but I'm hopeful this sweep will help progress things along. I'm just tired of waiting for this little man to make his grand entrence, I know he will come when he's ready but after knowing the midwife could feel his head I'm more impatient like if she's felt him I want to hold him now!!!!!

Fingers crossed baby's here before the end of next week!
