possible rabies exposure

So I am a vet tech. I love my job but I want to be put on maternity leave now, we had a cat come in that possibly has rabies. The cat did not bite or starch me BUT I did touch the cat and then I touched my face before washing my hand and I do have open wounds on my face from being so broken out and I don't know if there was saliva where I touched him, I'm almost 33 weeks pregnant and I'm just freaked out now. I'm waiting on my dr to call me with suggestions on what I should do, I just want to be on maternity leave so I'm not exposed to anything that could hurt my baby. I know people think I'm being silly but I don't care I just want to be safe.
