Is lactating a early sign of pregnancy

My husband and I are going and back and forth about me might being pregnant and today I started to lactate. So of course he turns around and says that I am definitely pregnant. When I found out about our daughter (she is now year and half old) I didn't lactate, I just had spotted for two days.
