recently engaged and wondering about surnames??

my name is Charlotte Skye, my current surname is Howard. my fiancé's surname is Gross. or i was thinking of hypenating them. what sounds better??☺️

I'm hyphenating. My last name just sounds better with my name. Plus we're a team. I think it's alright to have both

I took my husbands last name and it's one letter away from the F word.  Pronounced (fooooks) my last name is now "Fuchs." While a feminist, I'm also a traditionalist and it was important to my husband. I always say he also made a lot of sacrifices for our relationship.  I thought about it- but I took the name. Hyphenating was out of the questions for me...but sometimes I wish I would have made my maiden name my middle name

I hyphenated b/c it sounds better (plus I knew a guy named Joe Wolf & I didn't want anything to do with that name for a lot of reasons) & my husband doesn't mind b/c I still tech took his name or added it at least lol
