Im very mad at my sons doctor and my pharmacist!

My son had a ear infection 3 weeks ago. Went on amoxicillin for 10 days then got another ear infection a week latter. We took him into the doctor and they prescribed him Cefdinir a antibiotic iv never heard of. He was on day 1 of it and diarrhea day 2 i changed his diaper and it was blood red! With what looked like clots!

I automatically put the diaper in a bag told my husband to pack him up were going to the ER.

We get to the ER after a 2 hour wait the doctor comes in and sits down and she said "When I seen he was on a antibiotic and he had possible bloody stool, I new right away he was on Cefdinir with out even looking" she was very nice and told us not to worry its a common side effect of the antibiotics it just turns there poop red... 😲😬

My doctor or pharmacist never said that was a side effect and I couldnt get ahold of either one!
