I'm late?

Question

So I'm 15 and have been having regular periods since I was thirteen, but for the past three months I've been a couple weeks late. Can any one tell me whats going on? I havent had sex so that rules that out, but I'm 18 days late at this point and I'm kinda freaking out😓

When you're that young aside from the stress or anything else it could be caused by, it also could just be your periods adjusting. Mine were always irregular up until I was 18 and even then sometimes it would skip and readjust itself. It's totally normal in my opinion. If it gets too scary for you ask your mom or parent if you can get to the doctor to try to make sure something isn't wrong like a cyst or hormonal imbalance. Make sure you stress that you aren't having sex if you end up needing birth control. I know a lot of parents automatically assume the worst with it and flip out haha.

Sometimes it just happens. There's many different things that can cause late periods, stress, exercise, diet, etc;
