could I be pregnant

So my last period was Jan 17, my period for this month was suppose to start feb 14. I went to the doctor a week before this for a regular check up my blood work came back and I had an HCG level at 10 now my doctor told me this isn't positive until it is an 30 but as of today I still haven't gotten my period. This is the first time it's this late 9 days to be exact. I took two home pregnancy test they both said negative. I went back to the doctor yesterday to do another blood test today I get the results back I will be very disappointed if I'm not
