when did you tell your employer?

How early did you tell your employer you were prego? I'm a hairstylist and I'm already feeling green just at 5 weeks! So I feel I should tell my manager so if I start acting off she doesn't see it as me just being lazy...any thoughts?

With my third pregnancy, I told my boss really early because I suffered a miscarriage with previous pregnancy and had to tell her about it because I had missed a lot of work because of it. She also knew that we would be trying for another baby ASAP...so I told her I was pregnant at around 5/6 weeks. I had a lot of morning sickness too with my last pregnancy.

I told her at 4 weeks along with my coworkers, im also a hairstylist and on my feet for long periods of time and also had alot of morning sickness so it was nice for them to be more accommodating

I've told my direct manager and coworkers, but not HR yet. I really adore my work family though, so I couldn't wait to tell them.
