I've never been on a schedule. I've always been told to feed on demand.

Since we came home. That schedule sucked. My son is EBF & is gaining weight amazingly. I'm doing something right 💁 Mothers instinct.

My son had trouble with sleeping through eating and losing weight, so we were on a strict schedule for the first month. Now I feed him on demand and he's still doing great!

My daughter had jaundice so we were on a strict every 2 hour (if not sooner) schedule for the first  2 weeks.  After her jaundice cleared up and outr pediatrician gave us the go ahead I started only feeding when she cued and letting her sleep    .
