Aquarius and Aquarius pairing?

I am an Aquarius, but a lot of times I relate more to Capricorn qualities, and my SO is also an Aquarius. I was wondering if it's possible for two Aquarius signs or an Aquarius and Capricorn sign to be compatible? I've read some things that say that it's not a good match, but I was wondering if anyone had experience otherwise?
