No no no. You need to set standards for yourself, and do not be afraid to set them high. There is nothing too ridiculous when it comes to demanding respect. These days it seems like if you can find a man or woman who is faithful than keep them because it's rare to find that, but that shouldn't be such a rare blessing. Faithfulness is necessary, do not settle for someone who even thinks about another woman like that. And abuse is a whole different story. That is never okay. It's okay for you to expect to be treated like a queen, because to that man you should be a queen. And he should be someone you can depend on and look up to. Never compromise on respect.
