anyone here work for Starbucks?

Hello! Does anyone here work for Starbucks or know anyone that does? I am thinking of applying because they are hiring but I'm curious to see how the work environment is! I'm a college student by the way!

My friend works there and says her co workers and manager is great but the customers can be really rude. Significantly more than in other retail Jobs. I'm sure it depends though on where you are

I worked for Starbucks for 4 years while in HS/college. I absolutely loved it! May favorite job ever! The pay is pretty good too. Much better than other places I've worked. My coworkers became like family members to me. I made some of the best friends I'll ever have there. Plus it's super fast paced, so it's fun and the shifts go by quickly. Such a fun job.
I think every location is different, but you can pick up shifts at other stores. If you don't like your location, find a location you love and transfer there.

**its also good for college students because you get a free bag of coffee (or box of tea) every week plus free drinks on shift.

I worked for Starbucks for two years. I loved it!! Such a fun work environment, however, very demanding and stressful. There is no "down" time. You are slammed from the time you get on the floor to when you stop. That is regardless of what shift you work. A lot of fun though!!
