How do you afford to see a doctor?

Question

We aren't married yet. I'm not eligible for Medicaid/Medicare and cannot afford Marketplace. 
How do you ladies see a doctor? Clinic? Etc?
I have known health issues but haven't been to a dr since I was 26 after I could no longer be on my Mom's. 
I desperately need to see a dr asap!

On a side note: my pelvic area started hurting today especially when I move. Any of you have any experience with this?

While in Minnesota they have it if you go to the ER and don't have insurance you can fill out paperwork and if your income meets the guidelines you can get it paid for. Try state insurance... I work at as a CNA and make good money. And still got approved for state insurance do to the whole household income guideline.

Most healthcare clinic do the pay scale thing were if you pay 20$ they'll see you. If you're pain or concerned you can always go to the E.R

Hospitals legally cannot deny you for inability to pay. 
If you feel this is serious, go to the ER!

You should look up a free clinic near you that offers some sort of payment plan. It sounds like it might be an emergency.

In my town there's a clinic called Pregnancy center and they check on your baby for free. I have a midwife, Will be having a home birth (those aren't that expensive and they do payment plans). Way cheaper than the hospital bill you will get if you deliver at a hospital (and more natural too).
