Would you run a Half marathon during the 1st Trimester?

As long as your dr approves it then go for it, take that baby along with all your adventures

Since you're probably fit already it's no big deal (I think) unless you've struggled with miscarriage before. Maybe slow down a bit and treat it more like a workout than a competition.

If I'm already prepared for it I would run it. Just keep aware of how your body is doing while you run and slow down if you need and I would not aim for a PR.

I have a friend who did a full marathon at 11 weeks. She finished and her baby is due next month.

I wouldn't now since I'm out of running shape. But a year ago I would have for sure! Good luck girlie! Just listen to your body and walk if you need to

If you already signed up and have done most of your long runs, I would do it. Some of the half marathons I have run also have a 5 miler or 5k option. If you are worried, you could switch to a shorter distance.
