If you have blocked someone completely do you ever have regrets afterwards that don't go away ?

The what if ? What it could of been ? What happen ? Just thoughts ...  that eventually lead to regrets but you know you'll never unblock them / speak to them ever again

Only in the first month after blocking them/removing them from my life. You'll get over it soon.

I had to block my dad and older sister. Both are extremely toxic and negative people.  I regretted it at first, but I was reminded of everything they did to me and I stuck to my guns. Now, I couldn't be happier with the decision I made. The negativity in my life is gone and I've surrounded myself with positive people.

I had an ex of 3 years who cheated on me and I broke up with him because of it. Every now and then, I think about him, but it's only the GOOD memories. Then I come back to reality and remember what a piece of shit he was.

NOPE. I can only speak from experience of having an "ex friend" that I've blocked not an actual ex, but the day I blocked her from all social media was the best. She was toxic and wanted to control me. It felt so good to cut her out of my life. Then I only surrounded myself with positive people.
