There's was no convincing me that I wasn't going to the ER at this point. So I get to the ER at 5:45 yesterday evening and it's PACKED. They take my vitals and everything and give me an IV. Around 9, they finally put me in a room. Nurses come to check on me. Around 11, doc comes in and asks some questions and tells me she's going to order an ultrasound just to be safe. So I lay down and they come get me for this ultrasound at like 1, because the person that was on call, called off. Went in and the lady was super sweet. We just started talking and I asked her about if I should go ahead with my elective ultrasound I schedule for next week... she asked what it was for and I told her it was to find out the sex of the baby. She was like "well I can tell you today if you want" I'm jumping for joy inside at this point. So she takes her measurements and then shows me. Low and behold, my baby BOY had his legs wide open to show mommy that he had boy parts. So I finish there and they take me back to my ER room. Doc comes in again and tells me, the reason behind my discharge color change is because I have placenta previa. So no sex and no vaginal exams until further notice. Buuuuut I'm TEAM BLUE and my son is 100% HEALTHY. So I'm one happy momma.
