Anyone induced with 0 effacement or dilation?

I'm 37 weeks and 5 days and my ob wanted to induce me at 37 weeks due to hypertension. Yesterday my bp was really high at my appointment. He checked me and I'm at 0... no effacement or dilation. He send me over to labor and delivery for monitoring and possible induction. My labs came back ok and my bp went down so he sent me home. He says while he feels he should induce me soon he is worried if he does it before my body is ready he may end in a c section. Amyone have experienced being induced early they would like to share?

I'm 38 weeks and 3 days. When I went to my last appointment she said I wasn't dilated or thinned out at all. I asked her if she could induce me and she said no. She wouldn't put my body through that because I will be in labor for a very long time and it could just end up in a c section. So she said when I come in next week she would like to see me at 2 cm dilated so I can have a vaginal delivery and if I'm not then she will schedule a c section.

I was induced with my first due to high BP. Straight on pitocin for about 10 hrs after which I pushed about 10 min. Only lasted 45 min before asking for the epidural after which I wondered why I waited so long. Kind of a wuss when it comes to pain

I was put straight on heavy Pitocin at zero dilation or effacement because of a small bag leak. 24 hours of Pitocin before pushing. 3 hours of pushing and forceps but no c-section. I lasted about 14 hours without an epidural - if you do an induction they will want you to try and get to 6cm before the epidural if you can (I couldn't).

I was induced with last pregnancy at 42 weeks zero dilation zero effacement. Prior to potocin I was given cervadil for ten hours, that brought me to almost a two. Then after two and a half more days on potocin, I wound up with a c-section as predicted by my midwife. In your case though, if your BP remains high then they may be forced to move for a c-section.

I'm kinda worried about this too. The only thing my cervix has done so far is 50% effaced but nothing else. They want to induce me next week because of my BP too. :(

I've been in the hospital since 9:30 yesterday, due to high blood pressure. I also have gestational diabetes. They started cervadil at 4:30 last night and I was closed high and thick when I was check before. If stayed in overnight for 12 hours and they took it out this morning I was 1cm. 40% effaced but still high. They did a dose of cytotec which is a pill they insert and I started getting contractions within a few hours about 2-3 mins a part each does is for four hours. I'm on my second dose of it and my contractions are getting closer and stronger. I'm hoping it's doing something the dr wants me at 2cm to start pitocin and break my water.... hopefully by 2pm I'll have shown progress.

With my first daughter I was induce and my cervix was long closed and not ready. It was an awful experience and I'm hoping to never have to do it again. I labored for 36 hours before finally having my baby girl. She is healthy, smart and happy though!!

This was me yesterday as well and I am in the process of being induced... Just had my water broke and my epidural and I'm on pitocen.... Finally 1 cm dialated after 4 doses of that medicine that makes your cervix soften ( 1 vaginally and 3 orally). I'm 38 weeks 1 day today and he will be here later

12 years ago I was induced because of my blood pressure with no progress down there. I started on pitocin at 9am and had my firstborn at 3:07pm that same afternoon vaginally. Ended up having back labor so it was awful but at least no caesarean
