Has anyone ever bought a used designer wedding gown online?

I want a designer dress without the designer price.  I am not religious or superstitious.  I figure there has to be some women who went crazy spending a fortune on a wedding dress that are willing to sale. I figure I'd try on dresses at the store, find one that makes me look great, then but it used online.!!!   Anyone did this before.

I found mine at an Alfred Angelo store and went online and found a lady selling the same dress and size I needed for $300 less. Given she never wore it and it still had tags. Lol. But it's worth a shot

I would try it, but I'd make sure I was 100% certain of the return/refund policy. Like, if it shows up and it's not as described what's your recourse? Can you simply return it if you hate it in person, or is there a penalty or no return policy.

I didn't get mine online but I got mine at a sample sale for 600 bucks. Essence of Australia and it was never worn :) the original price was 2400. I would buy online though I would first get my measurements taken by a seamstress so I can buy a dress that is closest to my size
