I am 26 yrs old and currently 21 weeks and 4 days pregnant. This is my first pregnancy and recently I just received a phone call from my Dr. saying that my baby is at risk of Down Syndrome. My percentage of risk is 2.49%. And now I have to go in for a level 2 ultrasound screening. I'm worried about the outcome of the results and since this is my first pregnancy. Also my mother has diabetes and I'm not even sure if that has anything to do with my results. Please if any of you have experienced this, I'd love to hear and know if there is anything I should be worried about.
