Have you used Nexplanon for Birth Control?

Question

I recently had the Nexplanon inserted and it's been altering my eating habits, my skin conditions, and my mood. I'm really would like to hear your experience with Nexplanon or implanon. I've also heard horror stories of it causing infertility but I don't know if that true?

I had it for 5 years, first 3 months were horrible (moody, nausea and headaches) but eventually went away and didn't have my period till the end of the 2nd years of having it. Got it taken out and a new one right in. I absolutely loved it! Never did I have a pregnancy scare, so very effective. How I look at it is, I'd rather deal with 3 months of pain or whatever than raising a child when I'm not ready and dealing with that. Everyone's body is different. I loved the Nexplanon.

GET IT OUT! it only gets worse! It started with small changes of mood and behaviors and then it got worse and worse. I got it out on my birthday and it was the best present I received.

My nexplanon experience was horrible. It made me depressed, felt sick all the time, constantly exhausted. It basically made me feel pregnant, I guess. But worse lol because I'm pregnant right now and don't feel nearly as terrible as I did with the nexplanon. Begged to have it removed after 5 months. Never again

I had a friend that got one right after having her daughter 7 months ago. She just had it taken out because it was messing with her body so much. I can't imagine implanting something in your body can be too healthy.
