Anyone have an Hysterosalpingogram (HSG)?
This is my first time posting here...so be nice please.
We're going on 7 months TTC #2. When I went in for my annual checkup I made mention that I was worried something was up, so my doctor sent me for an ultrasound to start, she told me that was normal, I then had my blood taken on day 21 of my cycle for progesterone, thyroid, etc...was told that was normal, my progesterone level was a 14 something.
This cycle I used an ovulation kit, thought we were finally getting somewhere, .......andddddd then my period shows up yesterday. I wasn't having my normal signs that my period was coming so of course I was quite upset to see it arrive. So I called the doctor today because she also suggested the HSG. So I set that all up but now I'm freaking out about it..partly because my insurance only covers half the bill and we have to pay the other half. No clue how much it costs...ugggh. I guess I'm just looking for some advice..
Update:
Unfortunately had to cancel my appointment because it will cost around $3000, and my insurance will only cover half of that..I cannot afford to just fork over $1500 right now. Sooo, I'll be trying different ovulation tests and trying to not stress about every little thing in my life. Thanks for the input ladies 😊
