co-sleeping?

For those moms co-sleeping, how long did you or are you co-sleeping until transitioning them into their own bed or room?

I'm planning to co-sleep until she's 6 months but knowing me I'm totally  lying lol she can sleep with me forever 😩😊.

My daughter was a nightmare! I ended up co-sleeping until she was 3-ish. Totally not planned but she had a difficult time transitioning. I'm pregnant with a little boy now and plan to co-sleep for a year.

I co-slept for a year and it was tough transitioning her to her own room and a crib but it was only tough for about a week and then totally worth it! Sleeping with us she would still wake up throughout the night and want to be put back to sleep. She is so great at sleeping now and literally ask to go to bed at night without rocking or anything and sleeps all through the night 10-12hrs! It's worth the tough week of transitioning!

I didn't plan to co-sleep but then once I had my baby I was just such a sucker and wanted to snuggle him 24/7 lol He's a year and a half and still sleeping with us cus it's just easier. We have his toddler bed next to ours so we are slowly transitioning him by moving him after he falls asleep. Especially cus we have another on the way. He'll probably still be in our room after the new baby cus he still wakes occasionally and it's easier if he's close.

I co-slept with my daughter until she was 3 months (pediatrician highly recommended we did so before 4 months because that's when they develop habits), and it was a hard week because I cave in so easily but then one day she slept all night in her crib, and has been doing so every night since. :)
