Severe cramps - endemetriosis? Dysmenorrhea?
I'm curious if anyone has any insight on this... I have been suffering with debilitating cramps since the onset of my first period at 15, which landed me in the hospital. I get so sick every month I have to remind myself it passes or I'd be headed to the ER regularly. I was on the pill for a long time after a PCOS diagnosis. I went off it 6 years ago because most pills gave me serious mood swings. The PCOS turned out to be a misdiagnosis. Apparently everything looks good down there and I'm actually extremely regular with periods every 30 days. I was then diagnosed with dysmenorrhea. However 8 months ago my hubby and I decided to TTC. So I started paying closer attention to my cycles. It turns out I pretty much cramp daily all month. The cramps are mild and I'm so used to them I barely noticed them I suppose until now. My ovulation pain is bad but not debilitating. My period pain is horrific. My poor hubby dreads it every month... As a result I've been diagnosed with possible endemetriosis, but they can't confirm it for certain without a laparoscopy. My question is am I alone or does anyone else feel like they share a similar set of symptoms? Have you been diagnosed with endemetriosis?does it sound like endemetriosis? Have you gotten pregnant? Could I be infertile? I'm scared and nervous :( I've always wanted a baby, and am scared it may not happen. I'm also terrified that it took doctors 18 years to possibly diagnose me. Is there something I should have done differently? So many questions and fears are coursing through my head... I appreciate any insights you may have! Thank you and baby dust to every one of you ✨ TTC 8 months. 33 yrs old.
