Is your husband/SO helping more since you're pregnant?

Question

Is your significant other helping more around the house or with errands? What are they doing to help?

He walks the dog more and if I say I'm tired he'll usually do what I ask him to do (not always though 😅)

My husband has always been helpful. ..he's always washed/dried dishes, cooks, takes trash out with out being asked, washes and folds laundry, massages me anytime I ask and does anything I ask him to and this was long before I ever got pregnant.

Yes! He is doing all the laundry, takes the trash out, walks our dog, and doesn't let me carry anything.😁

We did equal work before and we do equal work now! Somethings I can't do like climb ladders (too clumsy!) or change the litter and he jumps up to help me do those things. He really is the best

Nope. I've asked and told him I'm going to need more help. I eve left the garbage pile up to see how long it would talk him he just started a new bag and put it on the floor. Or he would put stuff on my counter so I ended up taking it all out and I told him I was waiting to see how long he would let it sit he goes well I was doing the same thing.... ok bc I take it out every single time. Ugh I really hate him right now.

No, not that I have asked him to though. I'm a stay at home mom with a 14 month old and watch other kids during the days too. I stay on top of the cleaning and chores as much as I. An since I'm always here. I don't ask him to do much since he works sometimes 6-7 days a week and is only home in the evenings anyway.

Dh goes to the store more, that used to be mostly my chore but these last two weeks have been rough and I've been too sick to go. So he asks me everyday on his way home if need anything (he works next to a Kroger) so that way I can come straight home from work and rest. He gives me foot rubs or back rubs when I need them too. But mostly I just find it helpful that he is calm when I'm emotional or being kinda bitchy.

I've had such awful nausea and fatigue this time. Sometimes I have to lay down way before bed time. He will take care of the kids and get them in bed. He also likes to carry things for me. He does the dishes, helps with laundry, helps clean, and constantly asks me if I need anything. It wasn't like this with our first two, but I had easy pregnancies with them. I think he can see how awful I feel! He's my hero 😘😘

My husband will help,  if I ask him too.  Usually he doesn't just do it on his own. So usually when I say something Itll get done eventually lol
