Take 10 year old on cruise with us?

So my husband and I are trying to plan a cruise (our 10 year anniversary is shortly after when we're trying to go)..it's our first cruise. & I need help lol! My son is 10 and I feel awful about leaving him behind. What should I do?

I think you should enjoy the time between just you two. Parents needs that time away with just the two of you sometimes.I say go alone.

They have tons of kids activities and kids camps. So he can go and you can still get some alone time.

Although they have tons of activities for kids on cruises, he's alone. Doing things alone is going to suck regardless. I think you should make this a couples trip.

There is so much to do on a cruise I think you'd be able to go with your son and set him up with different events or activities and still have some alone time.

I said take him, but either way is good. There should be lots of activities for him to enjoy. But you shouldn't feel bad if you want to go as husband and wife. You need to relax and feel connected to your partner and that would be easier if it was just you two. A romantic getaway for your anniversary is certainly a good idea.

My husband and I don't go away by ourselves as a couple, we do everything as a family. We even celebrate our wedding anniversary as a family. We prefer it that way.
But there is no right or wrong answer! You and your husband need to decide together what works for you and your family. ❤️
