How many cups of water?

I keep reading one thing on a website and another thing on another site. Drink more than 10 cups of water yet this app told me too much water can be toxic ?!
I drink 10 cups of water and that's only water. I also drink one cup or two of milk a day. 
How many cups are we supposed to drink? I am almost 20 weeks.

You'd have to chug it all at one time with no food in your system for that to even possibly happen (electrolyte depletion). If you're eating and drinking throughout the day it's fine.  I drink WAY more than 10, probably double.

10 cups is only 80oz, that's not a lot at all. The amount of water you'd have to drink to become toxic would have to be gallons in a short amount of time. On the avg day I drink 128oz (which is about 1 gallon) through out the entire day.

How ever many lbs you weigh, divide that by 2 and thats how many ounces you need to drink. If you are drinking less or more and your pee is light yellow to clear you are getting enough water. If your pee is yellow to dark yellow you're not getting enough water. Bright yellow is not the same as dark yellow, B vitamins will make your next pee bright yellow after you take them. Everyone needs a different amount of water depending on your activity level.

Example weight, 140lbs divide by 2 is 70oz per day.

I'm 24 weeks and I drink about 100-150 oz throughout my day. 50 oz of Gatorade. 50 of water and if I'm really thirsty ill drink more.

I drink about 150 oz a day which is almost 20 cups. My doctor said she had no issue with that.

Just remember a cup of water means 8oz, which is the size of a measuring cup that you would use for baking or cooking. Your actual glasses that you drink out of are probably much bigger than that. 8 cups doesn't necessarily mean 8 glasses or bottles of water a day.

1.5-2 liters. If you do 1.5 the other .5 can be other drinks like juice or whatever. Also drinking when you're thirsty is good too. Just make sure your urine stays light in color.

You'd have to drink nearly your body weight in water for it to be toxic. Don't worry about it. Drink what you normally do.
