When did the plus size mum's feel kicks from the outside

I'm 5"5 and pre pregnancy weight was 211lbs/213lbs. So I had a little pouch on me already. I'm 5 months and now 219lbs/220lbs. My husband gets deployed in April and he really wants to feel our daughter kick. Will it happen before he leaves?

Answer

At 6'1" I was 250 pre-pregnancy, and I felt movement at 17 weeks, but it took until about 24 weeks for the movement to be "big" enough for my husband to feel.

Should be soon! Hope so, anyway! My husband told me it totally changed how he felt about everything when he could finally feel him moving.
